Three Grades of Membership are available to any person wishing to join the Association :-

Member - A person who has held a responsible position in a profession, industry or commerce for a    period of not less than three years and who has a   practicing interest in engineering   (Fee £37.50)

Associate - A person who has a practicing interest in engineering but who does not fulfil the other requirements of full membership  (Fee £22)

Student - A person who is studying one of the engineering disciplines in either a full or part  time capacity  (Fee £5)

Young persons starting on their careers will meet engineers from every branch of the profession.  They will be able to participate in the discussions and to ask questions informally.  They will therefore receive every possible encouragement to develop in their chosen branch of engineering.

By resolution of the Council, full members of the Association are permitted to use the letters MManAE after their name.  A certificate of membership is issued to newly elected members.
